PROCESS OF FILM MAKING

The process of film making indulges within it three stages such as pre production, production, and finally the post production. The initiative begins with the pre production stage where Film making begins long before the cameras start to turn. 

After a studio (film making company) agrees to make a movie, a script is prepared; the budget is drawn up, actors and skilled crew hired, and the entire production planned up to the last detail. This is followed up by the production stage when film begins, a movie set is crowded with equipment, and each piece is the responsibility of a specific member of the crew. 

Between every other takes (sequences of filming), every one works frantically to ensure that everything is done and according to that of the requirement of the director’s want. Apart from the movie set, properties, wardrobe, costume designing and make up have their own proficient people. Sometimes certain scenes are shot out in any order and finally the director finds the sequence and the editor links the scenes out as required in the post production stage.
