Walt Disney India is all set to foray into South Indian projects with a Telugu movie starring Siddharth and Shruti Haasan. The untitled epic fantasy adventure is aimed at southern audiences and will be dubbed in Tamil also. The film commenced production in November 2009 and will grace theatres in Jan 2011.Directed by National Award winner Prakash Rao Kovelamudi, the film also stars Lakshmi Manchu and Harshitha. It is co-produced by K. Raghavendra Rao According to sources, the film narrates the story of a nine-year-old girl with special healing powers and her quest to save Sangarashtra from the tyranny of an evil Queen (Manchu).
The story quite interesting its about a journey of a nine-year-old girl which is set in the fictitious land of Sangarashtra. The girl has special healing powers and quest to save Sangarashtra from the tyranny of an evil Queen. Director Prakash's father and noted producer-director K.Raghavendra Rao is co-producing the film.
