Do you know the origin of the famous web site that is widely used? And do you still wanted to know much more about it ? Then here it goes….Once a guy lost his girl friend in a train accident. But girl's name did not appear in the dead list. Days passed when this guy grew up and became an IT professional at late 20's. He hired developers from all over the globe and planned to make a software where he could search for his girl friend through the web. Things happened as planned. And finally he found her, after losing millions of dollars and 3 long years!! Then he just decided to shut down the search operation, when the CEO of Google had a agreement with this guy and took over this application. This Software made a whopping 1 billion dollars profit in its first year, which we today know as ORKUT. The guy's name is Orkut Büyükkökten. Yes it's named after the guy’s name only. Today he is paid a robust sum by Google. He is expected to b the richest person by 2009. This guy now has 13 assistants to monitor his scrapbook.
